Abstract:
In this paper, a bias control system of M-Z modulator based on PID feedback loop is designed. The bias control system canautomatically track the output optical power of M-Z modulator as the environment changes, and adjust the bias working point of modulatorin real time through feedback loop. This system is used in the radio frequency optical fiber transmission link of satellite telemetry. It canmaintain the output optical power stability of M-Z modulator within ±0.1dBm in the temperature range of –40℃~+70℃, and has highreliability, practicability and technical maturity.
