摘要:
目的：利用基本科学指标数据库（Essential Science Indicators，ESI）分析西部地区临床医学学科的建设情况。 方法：检索 ESI 数据库，分析北京协和医学院、南京医科大学、天津医科大学、中国医科大学、南方医科大学、重庆医科大学、西南医科大学、广西医科大学、新疆医科大学、昆明医科大学、宁夏医科大学等总共 18 所同类医学院校的论文数、被引频次、篇均被引数和排名。结果：西部地区共有 9 所医科大学的临床医学学科进入世界 1%，大部分是处于中下水平，发表论文期刊数 量和质量都有待提高。结论：西部医科大学推进学科建设，需要重视论文质量，鼓励师生发表高水平论文；积极主动参与国际学术合作，扩大国际学术影响力；并加强引进人才评估兼顾学术合作、学术影响力评估等。
Abstract:
Objective: Analysis of clinical medicine based on ESI on discipline construction in the west of China．Method: Using ESI， we will analyze the numbers, citations, Citations Per Paper and ranking of Peking union medical collage, nanjing medical university, Tianjin Medical University, China Medical University, Southern Medical University, Harbin Medical University, Fujian Medical University, Dalian Medical University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, ChongQing Medical University, guangxi Medical University, Xinjiang Medical University, Kunming Medical University, Ningxia Medical University, Southwest Medical University, Xi’an Medical University, Inner Mongolia Medical University and North Sichuan Medical University. Result: There are 9 medical universities in the west of china have entered the world 1%. Compare with the similar medical universities, most of them are lower. the quality of published journals should be improved. Conclusion: To promote the disciplines construction ofmedical university in western of China, the quality of the articles need to be pay more attention, the publishing of high-level papers of teachers and students need to be encouraged. We must actively participate in international cooperation and to expand international academic influence, and strengthen the evaluation of talent introduction, academic cooperation and academic impact．
