Abstract:
The rule of law index as a quantitative rule of law, on the progress of the rule of law has important practical significance.World Justice Project Rule of Law Index is based on the rule of law in the pursuit of universal values, a quantitative comparison of thetransverse global rule of law, and therefore the rule of law index universal characteristics. But the rule of law in developing countries and thecurrent imbalance ,the economic,cultural and the tradition is very different, so we propose to build the rule of law in the index should beunique. In China, for example, is to build in China’s Rule of Law Index. This paper discussed the existence of the rule of law index ofuniversality and particularity of the foundation, combined with the characteristics of Chinese law, and strive to build the rule of law in theindex on prominent Chinese characteristics.
