随着生活水平提高，中等城市小汽车拥有量也越来越多，常规公交吸引力下降、交通拥堵问题也继而显现，文章针对目前中等城市出现的交通拥堵问题，以吉林省延吉市为例，通过分析城市交通特点，提出中等城市建设快速公交系统（BRT）的必要性，并为中等城市BRT运营给出建议，分析可能出现的问题，并给出解决方案。
Abstract:
With the improvement of living standards, there are more and more cars in medium-sized cities, the attraction of conventional public transport decreases, and the problem of traffic congestion also appears. Aiming at the problem of traffic congestion in medium-sized cities, this paper takes Yanji city, Jilin province as an example, by analyzing the urban traffic characteristics, puts forward the necessity of building BRT in medium-sized cities, and gives suggestions for BRT operation in medium-sized cities. The possible problems are analyzed and the solutions are given.
