Abstract:
The limitation of the working temperature range of current optical communication system is discussed. Several heatdissipation modes commonly used in optical communication system are introduced. According to the working principle and characteristicsof semiconductor refrigerators, a scheme of expanding the operating temperature range of optical communication system by usingsemiconductor refrigerators is proposed. Finally, the practical application effect of semiconductor refrigerators in expanding the operatingtemperature range of optical communication system is verified by the test of finished products.
